These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of invoicemakerfree.co.uk (the "Service"), a free online tool that lets you create, save, share and download invoices as PDFs. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
The Service is provided by the operator of invoicemakerfree.co.uk ("we", "us", "our"). Questions: hello@invoicemakerfree.co.uk.
The Service lets you fill in invoice details, preview the result, and download it as a PDF. You can optionally create an account to save invoices and generate a shareable link (with an optional PIN) so your customers can view and download the invoice.
The Service is provided free of charge and funded by advertising (Google AdSense). We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time without notice.
You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
"Your Content" means anything you enter or upload — business and customer details, line items, prices, notes, logos, signatures, and any saved invoices.
You agree not to use the Service to:
We may remove content or suspend access if we reasonably believe these rules are being broken.
When you create a share link, anyone with that link can view and download the invoice (and any PIN you set acts as an additional gate, not strong security). You're responsible for who you share the link with. We're not liable for invoices shared with the wrong recipient.
The Service generates PDFs from the data you enter. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legal compliance of every invoice you create, including correct VAT/tax numbers, rates, currency, payment terms, and any country-specific invoicing requirements. The Service is a formatting tool, not legal, accounting or tax advice.
We display ads via Google AdSense to keep the Service free. Ads load only after you accept the advertising cookies in the cookie banner. We don't endorse advertised products and aren't responsible for their content. See our Privacy Policy for details on advertising data.
The Service itself — including its design, code, text, logos and trademarks — belongs to us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works of the Service without permission. You may, of course, freely use the invoices you create.
We try hard to keep the Service available, but we don't guarantee uptime or that it will be free from bugs. We may update, change or remove features at any time. We may also schedule maintenance that briefly interrupts access.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that invoices generated by the Service will be accepted by any tax authority, accounting system, or counterparty.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for:
Our total aggregate liability to you in connection with the Service is limited to £50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence).
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims and losses arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g. content licence for already-shared invoices, disclaimers, liability, governing law) will survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that if you're a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
